Julia Dennis

I paint, draw, and craft images to tell stories.  After travelling in Central America, I pursued a Fine Arts Honours Degree from the University of Manitoba.  There I majored in painting and went on to complete a Bachelor of Education from the University of Manitoba.  I also studied illustration at Red River College, and even took in one short course at Central St. Martins School of Design in London, England.
Painting murals, drawing, and wielding a paint brush are where I feel most at ease.  Often my characters carry some form of self-reflection; they tell stories and reflect on life, but sometimes they are just for fun.  Currently I teach art, make art, and am learning how to be a mom.
